Mobile VSI Crusher
Nesans Mobile VSI (Vertical Shaft Impact) Crushers combine advanced rock-on-rock crushing technology with full mobility. Purpose-built for producing high-quality manufactured sand and shaped aggregates that meet the most demanding specifications.
Our mobile VSI crushers feature dual-drive systems for maximum power, automated cascade control for optimal particle shape, and quick-change wear parts for minimal downtime. The robust track chassis handles rough terrain while providing stable operation during crushing.
Perfect for M-Sand production, aggregate shaping, and applications requiring superior cubical products. The mobile platform allows you to produce premium materials directly at quarry faces or construction sites, reducing material handling costs and improving project economics.
Applications:
How It Works
The Mobile VSI Crusher uses high-velocity impact rather than compression to break and shape material. Feed enters the rotor through a controlled cascade system that directs material either through the rotor or around it as an autogenous crushing bed.
Inside the rotor, material accelerates to high velocity before being thrown against the rock-lined crushing chamber. This rock-on-rock impact creates cubical particles with excellent shape characteristics ideal for concrete and asphalt applications.
The cascade ratio can be adjusted to optimize particle shape versus throughput. Product exits via the discharge conveyor while the mobile chassis allows quick relocation to follow quarry development or move between job sites.

The NVM Series offers dual crushing modes:
- Rock-on-Rock: Material impacts against a bed of retained material in the crushing chamber. Produces excellent particle shape with lower wear costs. Ideal for abrasive materials.
- Rock-on-Anvil: Material impacts against metal anvils for aggressive size reduction. Higher reduction ratio but increased wear part consumption. Best for less abrasive materials requiring maximum throughput.
The vertical shaft impact technology produces highly cubical aggregates with excellent particle shape. Benefits include:
- Superior concrete workability and strength
- Better asphalt compaction and durability
- Compliance with stringent construction specifications
- Premium product commands higher market value
The VSI is the preferred choice when particle shape is critical for end-use application.
Wear part life depends on material abrasiveness and throughput. The NVM Series features quick-change wear parts designed for easy maintenance:
- Tool-free rotor tip replacement
- Segmented anvil rings for partial replacement
- Typical rotor tip life: 80-200 hours depending on material
- Anvil life: 200-500 hours in rock-on-anvil mode
The modular design minimizes downtime and reduces operating costs.
The NVM Series production capacities:
- NVM-1500W: 90-130 TPH
- NVM-2000W: 110-170 TPH
- NVM-2500W: 140-210 TPH
- NVM-3000W: 170-265 TPH
Actual throughput depends on feed size, material characteristics, and desired product gradation.
The NVM Series excels in applications requiring premium shaped aggregates:
- Manufactured Sand: Producing high-quality M-sand for concrete
- Asphalt Aggregates: Cubical chips for road construction
- Railway Ballast: Shaped stone for track beds
- Premium Landscaping: Decorative crushed stone
- Glass Sand: Fine silica processing
