Mobile Cone Crusher
Nesans Mobile Cone Crushers bring the precision and efficiency of our stationary cone crushers to a fully mobile platform. Engineered for secondary and tertiary crushing applications where product shape and gradation are critical.
Our mobile cone crushers feature advanced hydraulic CSS adjustment, automatic tramp iron release, and intelligent load monitoring to maximize throughput while protecting the crusher from damage. The track-mounted chassis allows rapid deployment and repositioning without crane assistance.
Ideal for aggregate producers requiring shaped products for concrete and asphalt, mining operations processing ore, and contractors needing mobile secondary crushing. The combination of proven cone crusher technology with mobile flexibility delivers both performance and operational efficiency.
Applications:
How It Works
Material is fed into the Mobile Cone Crusher via the integrated hopper and feeder system. A pre-screen removes undersized material before it reaches the crushing chamber, improving efficiency and reducing wear.
The cone crusher uses a gyrating mantle inside a concave bowl to crush material through compression. As the mantle rotates eccentrically, it compresses material against the concave, creating the crushing action. The gap between mantle and concave (CSS) determines final product size.
Hydraulic adjustment allows on-the-fly CSS changes to optimize production. The crushed product exits through the discharge conveyor while the entire mobile unit can be repositioned using the track drive system.

FAQs
The NCM Series offers both configurations:
- Standard Cavity (NCM-900W, NCM-1200W): Designed for secondary crushing with larger feed acceptance and higher throughput
- Fine Cavity (NCM-900FW, NCM-1200FW): Optimized for tertiary crushing, producing finer output with tighter product gradation
Choose based on your feed size and desired output specifications.
The Automated CSS Control system allows operators to adjust the Closed Side Setting directly from the control panel without stopping production. Hydraulic cylinders precisely control the crusher setting, enabling:
- Real-time output size adjustment
- Compensation for liner wear
- Quick product changeover
- Consistent gradation control
The Tramp Iron Release is a hydraulic safety system that protects the crusher from uncrushable materials (tramp iron). When foreign objects enter the crushing chamber:
- Hydraulic accumulators allow the bowl to lift automatically
- The uncrushable material passes through safely
- The system resets rapidly without manual intervention
- Prevents costly damage to the crushing chamber and liners
The NCM Series production capacities:
- NCM-900W: 90-200 TPH
- NCM-900FW: 65-110 TPH
- NCM-1200W: 150-310 TPH
- NCM-1200FW: 90-130 TPH
Throughput varies based on feed material, CSS setting, and crushing chamber configuration.
Yes, the NCM Series is engineered with compact transport dimensions for easy road transport. Features include:
- Hydraulic folding discharge conveyor
- Optimized weight distribution
- Standard trailer width compliance
- Quick setup hydraulic support legs
This allows movement between job sites without requiring oversize load permits in most regions.
